As usual, the game is filled with secret levels for you to discover by unearthing the location of in-game easter eggs – known in space as Eggsteroids. There are 5 eggsteroids to locate but if you struggle to find them, don’t worry, help is at hand…

Eggsteroid #1

The first eggsteroid is located on Level 1-9. Aim below the square of obstacles you are presented with between you and that nasty space pig, you will see the eggsteroid sitting there right on the surface of the planet. This will then reveal the space invaders styled special level for you to solve.

Eggsteroid #2

The second eggsteroid can be found on level 1-20. The eggsteroid is located on the surface planet in amongst the greenery and can be destroyed easily, aim to the left of the planet then use the eggsteroid as a target for your bird. The second secret level has then been unlocked.

Eggsteroid #3

Eggsteroid #4

The fourth and penultimate eggsteroid can be found on level 2-25 on the opposite side of the planet with the catapult. Use the third angry bird to get this by aiming left of the launch planet to the bottom then aim again using the target to hit the eggsteroid.

Eggsteroid #5

The final eggsteroid can be found on 2-28 and is easily pointed out on the planet surface just below the arrow telling you to aim counter-clockwise. This is yet another easy eggsteroid to get and another secret level for you to conquer.

With the eggsteroids found, all you need to do now is make sure you have completed all the levels with three stars and complete the hidden levels at the same high standard. You will then be the envy of all your gaming friends and wait until Rovio release the next update to this fantastic game. I’m sure it will throw in many more easter eggs for us to find and new levels to make us pull our hair out in frustration until we release we just need to look at things a different way.

Rovio plan to release “Frying to the moon” as their next Angry Birds Space planet update.

Let me guess: you have played it once or twice on a friend’s smartphone, but now you’re looking for the Angry Birds PC Game because you are hooked! Am I right? Perhaps you heard about how the Angry Birds PC CD-ROM was released in some countries, but not your own?

Well I have some good news for you! The madly addictive bird-firing action is now available in the United States! Someone has FINALLY gone and imported it, allowing you to get your twitching fingers on a copy.

Even if you haven’t actually played the game yet on a smartphone, it is likely you have heard of Angry Birds’ success. The developers of the game have already managed to sell in excess of 10 million copied of the game, with this figure only increasing, hence the move to release the Angry Birds PC version for sale to the public as soon as possible.

I presume you are aware of the background story behind the game? In case you aren’t, here it is. The snorting snuffling green pigs have stolen the birds’ eggs. The birds are angry (hence Angry Birds!) and want to retrieve the eggs. Unfortunately for the Angry Birds, the pigs keep building forts out of various building materials. In order to knock down these forts and destroy each pig, the user of the Angry Birds PC game would use a slingshot to fire birds at the fort! Each different bird has a different ability: some are speedy, some split like a cluster bomb, while others explode like bombs!

In the Angry Birds PC Version there are an incredible 300 levels, which is way more than some of the other versions. The only major differences with playing this game on a PC instead of a smartphone or tablet are that you control the bird slingshot with your mouse instead of your finger, and that you are able to play on a larger screen.

The global reception to the game was excellent, and certainly assisted in its success.

With regards specifically to the difference in playing without a touchscreen, for example when playing the Angry Birds PC version, Greg Miller from IGN said it offered him “tiny variances in control that I don’t feel like I get with my fat finger on a screen”.

Damien McFerrin from the Electric Pig website also reviewed the Angry Birds PC game and said that “the mouse-driven control method showcases many distinct advantages over its finger-focused counterpart”.

Angry Birds for PC is a particularly good choice as a gift. It comes in a nice box, and it is far more traditional to offer a physical wrapped gift to someone for a birthday or special occasion. It will also look great on a shelf, and could potential be a valuable collectible at some point in the future.

Angry Birds Rio for PC is also available in the same CD-ROM format as thankfully it is imported by the same company that imported the original Angry Birds for PC. It is also available on Amazon for a similar price, and because it has already been imported the delivery times are fast and there is no danger of any customs problems.

So if you’re looking to play Angry Birds PC, look no further! I must warn you, once you’ve started playing you might find it difficult to stop! Angry Birds is certainly one very addictive game!
